Bank Accounts
Traditional Current Accounts
Traditional current accounts provide a chequebook and a cashcard and no notification is required when withdrawing funds. There is a range of facilities offered with these accounts such as cheque guarantee cards, debit cards and overdrafts etc. Facilities such as minimum balance requirements, minimum amount of transaction, whether a cash card is available, limits to the number of withdrawals, and associated rates of bonuses or guarantees will change depending on which account you select.
Current Account Mortgage (CAM)
A flexible mortgage linked to a current account. These mortgages take the benefits of the flexible mortgage and use the funds held in the current account to offset the interest e.g. on a particular day a borrower has a mortgage balance of £50,000 and has £2,000 held in the current account.
